I love edtech and I love reading, writing, learning, and sharing about edtech.  So that's why I started this blog, to share about edtech.  About the name...When I started using social media, I had no clue how to use it, let alone anything about branding.  So what do I do?  I sign up for all my accounts with my childhood nickname, elliemellie.  Years later, I get it, and yet I'm sticking with it!  Elliemellie I am, EdTech Elliemellie.  Sure, it's not as cool as "The Nerdy Teacher", or "Web 2.0 Classroom", or "The Daring Librarian", but it's me.  What else?  I taught Middle School for ten years at Waimea Middle School and am currently a Sr. Educational Technology Specialist at Kamehameha Schools Hawai'i.  I have a wonderful husband and two awesome kids who inspire me every day.  Views here are my own.
