I usually check my twitter feed every morning as I drink my coffee and I must say, @sjunkins was on fire Saturday morning. I was retweeting him all morning, and then...
Jackpot! And seriously, who didn't love those books growing up? They were my favorite! So I thought, oooooh, I have do to do this! But what for? Digital Citizenship! How awesome would it be to create a Choose Your Own Adventure focusing on Digital Citizenship? But even better...what if STUDENTS created the choose your own adventure? So this is coming...stay tuned.
In order to create a Choose Your Own Adventure in google forms, you need to use something called branching logic. Basically branching logic is when a survey takes a user to a question based on their previous answer. It may sound a little intricate, but it's actually pretty easy to do.
Something like this could probably get pretty huge so as Tom Woodward suggested in his post, it would probably be a good idea to map out the adventure before putting it in forms. In thinking about it, maybe a group of students could be assigned to a "branch" of the form.
What's your idea for using branching logic in the classroom?
